Zone 5 membership list was outdated and many members have retired and many emails bounced back. With members putting their school emails as their contact info, some districts reject mail or the email goes to SPAM as the emails are sent in a group email.
Zone 5 continues to look for persons to take on the roles of Zone Representative, President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Currently, there is no executive committee.
The Zone continues to struggle to move forward due to lack of leadership, members, and interest. The vast geographical makeup of the Zone and the fact that many of the counties within the Zone have their own school nurse county group is causing some of the hardships.
