As you know, the New York State Department of Health has suspended enforcement of Public Health Law 2164 for Remote Learners Only through March 11, 2021. A copy of the Updated Guidance for School Administrators Regarding Limited Temporary Enforcement of Student Immunization Requirement is attached for your information.

The annual School Immunization Survey for the 2020-2021 school year is opening today, February 16, 2021. Once the School Survey is open for you to enter your school data on immunizations, we would like you to use the following guidance on how to account for fully-remote students who have not yet completed their vaccine series:

Please count fully-remote students who are not up-to-date with their vaccinations as “in process” during the extension.
