Below is the latest guidance on the 1a COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Plan issued by the NYSDOH, 12/28/2020:
This document will affect school nurses who are going to be doing Covid testing on the job. The guidance specifies that the week of 1/4/21 will include all front-line, high risk public health workers who have direct contact with patients, including those conducting COVID-19 tests.
The question is, how will the nurses receive the vaccine? From the LDH when they drop off their tests? From the regional distribution center (Northwell on Long Island)? The table in the document lists TBD.
