President-Elect
Mary Fitzpatrick, BSN, RN, has worked for the New York Office of School Health as an elementary school nurse in Queens for the past nine years. A nurse for 40 years, Mary shares that her 26 years in emergency room nursing has been valuable in her school nursing practice. Five years ago, Mary joined the NYSASN Board of Directors as Zone 3 Representative. She served as co-chair for NYSASN’s Annual Fall Conference 2013 in Plainview. She has recently joined the faculty of NYSASN’s School Nurse Orientation.
Mary’s dedication to wellness issues has focused her commitment on promoting health and preventing disease. In addition to her organizational commitment as President-Elect, Mary hopes to advance the legislative and educational interests of NYSASN and its members.
Treasurer
Tammy Sullivan, AAS, RN, has been an RN for 42 years. Prior to becoming a school nurse, Tammy was a hospital nurse working in ICU and med-surg. She has been a school nurse in the Pine Bush Central School District for 30 years. While working as a school nurse, Tammy also worked part time at Crystal Run Health Care Urgent Care. Tammy has been the Treasurer for Zone 5 NYSASN for the last four years and the Treasurer for NYSASN the last two years. She is currently on the faculty of NYSASN’s School Nurse Orientation.
